A month or two ago I decided to clean out the fabric scrap bins (yes, it is embarrassingly bins). So, I went through all of them and started sorting them by color. I threw away small pieces (I know some of you are cringing right now), gave away two grocery sack of others...and then got down to one bin of my own! Major improvement. A few weeks ago, liZ and I had the opportunity to attend Fabric Fest, a sewing conference that was put on by Riley Blake Designs in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful mid-week conference of sewing, food, and new friends and we really had the best time. We met people from all over the world (hello new Aussie friends!) and we laughed more than we have laughed in a long time. A Nine Patch Quilt.
This was the one quilt that I completed this summer. I even took it on vacation with me! (I think only a nutty sew-er thinks about the sewing projects she is going to take on vacation with her...seriously.)
