Recently I made Gracie 5 new pair of pants to wear during the holidays. This morning I attempted to take her picture wearing one of them. Last night after I made the turtle my 5 year old decided he needed a stuffed creation as well. So I fired up the machine and made a simple version of some dolls I saw recently on a really cool Chinese crafting blog. Simon (my son) loves him. He named him "Cockroach" and proclaimed that he is the "guardian protector" who will keep him "safe from kidnappers" while he sleeps.Again, my 3-D skills are lacking and Cockroach needs to be de-clipped but all in all I'm counting this attempt as a success. ... Yesterday I got an invitation to my niece's 1st birthday party. In an effort to make her something different I decided to not only try my hand at making a 3-D creation but to make it up on my own---no pattern. What was I thinking?!?I used terry cloth and felt. It was loads of fun making it but I'm not sure about the outcome.
