..it's been a heck of a week here at homemaking central......and also I've been thinking that one week isn't long enough for me to get a grasp on let a lone master each facet of the ideal homemaking diamond...So I'm altering the experiment. I will spend two, yes two, weeks on each facet. That way I'll have time to try out all that excellent advice as well as post it. (Like this little gem: "...remember, as far as make-up is concerned, "Even a barn looks better if it's painted!'") And really, who ... View the Post
Pleats, Pleats and more Pleats
I always wanted to go to Catholic school like some of my friends when I was little, and it was all because of the cute pleated skirts that they got to wear everyday. They hated wearing them. Sewing projects
I have been doing some sewing projects for the kiddos lately, which is a restful thing. I don't get very long to sew with a 7 week old, but it still makes me happy.I made a dress for Hannie and some pants to match for Isaac. I hope to get a tie made for Aaron before Sunday but we'll see how it goes. I didn't have a pants' pattern that was small enough for Isaac's pants (and since I am cheap and didn't want to buy one) I traced a size 0-3 month pair I had and just went with it. I think for next ... View the Post
