$5 Friday…An Updated Broach for FREE!!!
Last week I went out shopping at a local thrift store and found some AWESOME deals.This is not one of them.But it was worn with a super cool $4 dress that I bought there.Awhile ago I went through a broach stage. A big one. Some ruffled leggings.
I think they turned out cute....I just need to make a mental note that if you want them longer that you have to cut them WAYYYYYY longer. I cut these about 3 inches longer than some current ones, but the knit tends to shrink up. Next time I will cut them 6-8 inches longer. I followed No Big Dill's tutorial except for the elastic part. I didn't have any wide elastic so I just pulled and zig zagged some 1/4 inch elastic into the top ruffle on the back of the fabric. Does that make sense?I ... View the Post

We moved into our house six years ago this last Thanksgiving and about a week ago I realized that it was now time for a little update.....that was mostly my fault in the first place.
