A Clown Treat
Did you ever have these clown cones at Baskin Robbins when you were little? They were definately a special treat in our family...but I loved when we got them. So, for the August birthday celebration, I decided that is was time to add some icecream cone clowns to our family celebration. If you want to make some, here's how I did mine. Nevermind the fact that Liz had her baby this week and things have been a bit crazy getting things done---we are glad it is finally here!!! Thrifted Thursday–A Fabric Edition
Here are some thrifted fabric things that I have found lately....These cocktail napkins (a set of 6 flowered and 6 blue) for $4.A set of 4 decorator fabric samples from the 50's and 60's--- 50 cents each.This quilt that I got for $8 dollars. It was kind of stained....but a couple of days in Oxiclean took most of them out.....and I LOVE white quilts. Fabric Filled Frames
I made these little fabric filled frames awhile back from a fat quarter of Amy Butler fabric I had been hoarding. I really love this print and wanted to use it in a way that I could enjoy it for a long time. So I spray painted some dollar store frames and filled them with pieces of the fabric, a little bit of doilie and some wooden birds.
