This week is boys' week!!!! And from the beginning we knew what we wanted to do.....make it retro boys' week! And so we give you...our "North by Northwest" adventure pajamas. The inspiration for Simon's jammies was a 1950's baseball uniform, very "Sandlot--esque" which is considered a classic film in all of the Evans' households. And Aaron got a retro bathrobe with pajama bottoms complete with bias tape finishes. So, now it's your turn, go to Project Run and Play and VOTE for your ... View the Post

Project Run and Play– Feather Tutu Tutorial
This feather tutu was a fun project. I will warn you that there is some handstitching involved....but I found that it holds better and the results make it well worth the hour or so to get it done. But instead of making her wear them all dingy and sad I wanted to make them over into something I would actually want to put Ruth in. Finally I decided that the best solution would be dye. And I set about to revive an old love of mine----the tea ... View the Post
