Thrifted Thursday—-A White Eyelet Dress (with some modifications)

Months ago I bought Grace an old stained dress for $2 at at local thrift store.  I brought it home, gave it a serious bleach bath, and hung it in the closet where it stayed until yesterday when I pulled it out and continued to freshen it up a bit. A Sewing Machine Cover

Currently I am knee deep in organize-the-house projects with one of those projects being my sewing area.  (What a disaster!)  As I sat there looking at it's sorry condition the other night I thought to myself, "Well, at least I'm using my sewing machine cover." Is it too early for this?

You might need to head to Target today....especially to see if these little guys are on clearance....because you might need some.The kids and I made this garland to decorate for a family Christmas party while they were all on break.  And now I need to go back and see if I can get any more.  Because the garland is too cute to put away....and is PERFECT for Valentine's Day. {I am terribly sorry if you are not ready for Valentine's posts yet.  I am not either.  But you may have to get some before ...
