Last month Elizabeth and I received an email from Jen at Kiwi Crate asking if we would review two of their "crates". Skirting the Issue
For what seems like forever now Elizabeth and I have been talking about how we would love to get a group of women together to sew for some sort of children's charity. Super well written and the details are all there. Right down to perfect button ... View the Post

No added sugar (I sometimes do if the watermelon isn't super sweet), but it's really just frozen watermelon, a bit of water and lime juice, blended to such a smooth and delicious taste. I learned to make watermelon icecream when I was living in the Algarve in Southern Portugal. We had it for dinner one ... View the Post
The Art of Homemaking—On Facet 4…It’s Still Good Advice
I always write my Art of Homemaking Posts on Friday nights after everyone has fallen asleep in the family room (remember, our insane weekly camp outs?). I like writing then. Everyone is snuggled around me, I'm happy, the house is quiet...it's the perfect time to think about my home and family. But last night Simon and I stayed up way too late watching a million episodes of "Natures Deadliest" on Netflix. (He loves any show about dangerous animals or natural disasters and we've just about run ... View the Post
