When liZ and I started this adventure of a blog 4 years ago, we had no idea that we could even do it, or that people would want to read about our crazy sewing (and non-sewing adventures)...and well, that we could even come up with projects to blog about for a whole 30 days. And well, the rest is history. We are still here...we are still having some crazy adventures and we are still sewing like nobody's business an it really is thanks to all of you. So, when we knew this blog anniversary was ... View the Post
A Pop of Color…A Sneak Peek…and A Confession
*This post is sponsored by Wayfair. We were compensated for this post, but all opinions, like always are our own. Recently we were asked if we would like to participate in a "Pop of Color" campaign....to which we said YES!!!! (A thousand times yes!) And I didn't even have to think for a second about what I wanted to do.... Here's the confession. We have NEVER bought anything new for ourselves for our bedroom...15 years of marriage and we still live like college students. I'm not kidding. ... View the Post

The project I chose to make for myself is actually the exact same pattern I sewed for myself for the Ugly Duckly Pattern Challenge we held last month. But this ... View the Post

Both liZ and I love to sew clothing and apparel but in the last couple of years I have gotten into quilting. And one thing that I have found with quilting is that after making a few quilts that I have lots of extra quilt blocks! So, I have been trying to find fun projects that incorporate some of those lovely quilt blocks into useful projects! What a better way to use up a leftover quilt block than a quilt block pocket. Below is the quilt block pocket tutorial.... skirt fabric elastic ... View the Post
