I have been handbinding a lot of quilts lately, some for upcoming projects (that we can't wait to tell you about) and some for quilts that I have made in trying to use up my stash and scrap piles this year. Using Flannel in Clothing
My girls love flannel. A lot. They have flannel blankets, flannel sheets, and flannel pajamas. In fact Ruth (my 3 year old) even has her own little trunk full of flannel...pink cuts of flannel fabric pieces. And so I was thinking there has to be a way to let my girls wear the kind of fabric that they love....which is perfect to keep them toasty warm during the winter...but not have them look like they are wearing pajamas.
