At the end of last year my husband and I had one of those "numbered" anniversaries. We haven't done much to celebrate in the past and so we decided it was kind of a good excuse to save up and plan for a short get-away trip. And if you know me in real life you would know that I love a good deal....so while we didn't have a specific destination planned (I was thinking it would be close but a warm vacation--it was in the winter) I ended up finding a GREAT deal on a 2 person trip to Mexico and ... I have been wanting to make these pants for awhile because my daughter is all about jogger pants lately. We bought a pair in chambray in the early spring and she has worn them everywhere...mostly because they are so comfy and easy to pull on. And then I realized---why haven't I been making these?! ... Building Blocks Quilt Pattern (FREE PDF PATTERN!)
Every Friday night our family tries to do "movie night." Although it is getting harder the older everyone gets, we still try to make it a tradition to have pizza, treats and a favorite family movie....and sometimes a huge sleepover in the basement. I love that it's a good way to unwind from the week and when everything is dark and still I love to peek around and find everyone cuddled in a homemade quilt, snuggled warm and cozy. I finished this quilt a while ago to add to our "family movie night" ... View the Post
