So...Aside from sewing, crafting, and eating nachos I have another addiction---school. Not much time passes between my enrollment in school of one kind or another. After graduating from a local university I began using my degree teaching art and history. (A job that I LOVED.) During my second year of teaching I discovered a night class that another university offered that I could attend and earn a degree in special education...and before I knew it I had finished the course and was off to ... Elizabeth and I had been gone on an adventure (a cold, wet, funny, colorful, eventful adventure) which we enjoyed but we missed our family's something terrible. (Yes we are babies.) They ALL looked like this: Anyone else remember these beauties or am I just waaaay older than all of you are? (Wait, don't answer that.) I'll just pretend you remember these ... View the Post
A Handmade Christmas: Isaac’s Christmas Outfit
I am busy getting some Christmas outfits made for the kids. First up is Isaac's. Well, I still have his button-front shirt to make....but I am considering it almost done. The cardigan is the Greenpoint Cardigan pattern from Hey June, which I am in love with on him.
