Today we are showing you an easy process of how to print your own fabric! One question I get asked quite often is if I have ever printed on fabric and how it works. So, I thought I would write up a simple tutorial today to show exactly how I print on fabric and then make it into a quilting project. The process itself is simple and it's fun to be able to design what you would like and then be able to print it out and sew with it! I am doing the process on a simple quilted pillow today but ... Easy Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board
Today I'm excited to share an easy hot chocolate charcuterie board that you can use at gatherings throughout the holiday season. Although...admittedly...this isn't a board. It is a tray I bought over the summer and LOVE. I use it ALL THE TIME. (I tried to find a link to it and can't find the exact tray but you can find ones similar HERE and HERE.) With the hot chocolate charcuterie I do prefer to use a tray with sides because most often I am putting this together for a gathering ... View the Post
Christmas in July 2019 Week #2: The Nightmare Before Christmas Gift Eating Snake
Today I am so excited to share how I made this giant Nightmare Before Christmas Gift Eating Snake! I love this snake...but I can't take all the credit for making it. Infact, the idea to even make him came from my 14 year old son. I was saying how it's lame that we don't even have a tree skirt...just a blanket that we use to wrap around the tree stand. And then he said the blanket was better than a skirt...but it would be way cooler if we had the snake from The Nightmare ... View the Post

Today we are starting with something I did last year for Christmas and am planning to do again this year...and that is.... Using my fabric scraps to create all the ... View the Post
Rag Heart Wreath
Rag wreaths are the perfect scrap busting projects so when I recently came across wire heart wreath forms I knew it was the answer for my overflowing pink and red scrap bins! All you need to make these cute wreaths are: A pile of scraps cut roughly 1.5 inches wide and 8 inches long. And maybe a great movie to watch because all you have left to do is tie! tie! tie! Grab one scrap at a time and tie a double knot around 2 rungs of your wire frame...making sure to place the knot in the ... View the Post
Simple Hand Warmers Tutorial
Today I am sharing a simple tutorial for a project that is perfect for the the cold weather ahead....hand warmers! We love hand warmers at our house and take them with us on winter walks, caroling, and even slide them into our packets when we are out playing in the snow. They are great scrap busting projects, good for first time sewing projects (especially for younger sewists), and make cute neighbor gifts. Sooooo...with all that said let's get started! All you will need for ... View the Post
