Almost a year and a half ago I started an experiment that I wasn't able to finish....but I CAN'T LIVE with unfinished business.I need closure. So this week I began my experiment again. And this time I'll do it right...and I will complete it.An experiment is "a test or trial undertaken to discover or demonstrate something".My experiment is based on the book "The Art of Homemaking" written in 1962 by Daryl Hoole.(and just so you know Daryl is a woman)How I found this book, why I bought it, and how I ... The Art of Homemaking—Let’s Go To the Movies! And A Warning—for Myself
Recently Grace went to see Beauty and the Beast in the movie theater. It was the first time she had ever seen it. We went with my mom and sister-in-law. Just the girls. Grace has a little Belle doll and Beauty and the Beast coloring books but had never seen the movie. It was awesome. Her realizing (and she didn't put the pieces together until the next day) that the prince at the end was in fact the Beast was excellent. It totally reminded me of when I realized that Darth Vader is Luke's dad. ... View the Post

Since having baby Ruth almost 3 months ago we've had a lot going on. Everything from return visits to the doctor and hospital dealing with complications ... View the Post

With our two oldest boys, who are sassy, and silly, and who didn't plan on having any fun with their mothers out taking pictures of them. But then out came a blow up bed in a field...and the newspapers...and the laughing. And our skeptical boys did what they do best---played. I planned on writing some ... View the Post
