From 9 am to 9 pm. I am praying that I make it.In other random news, after the holiday bazaar last weekend I have 4 dresses left. Most of which are very fallish/wintery colors...so I want someone to be able to use them....if you are interested email me (I am even too lazy to list them on Etsy this morning.) I will ... A Tutorial. A Hoop Skirt.
Remember these dresses? A little bit of background on these dresess.....would you believe me if I told you that they were made in 48 hours? Yep. It was a whirlwind of tulle.....and crazy sewing. And at the last minute, I decided that Hannie's dress needed a hoop skirt to make her dress super full with all that tulle on it. (It didn't hold it out with just a crinoline slip.) So, I drove to Joann's, bought the supplies...and whipped up the hoop skirt in about a half an hour before we ... View the Post
Happy Halloween—A Last Minute Skirt
Today I have a tutorial for you for a Halloween skirt. Ok, I will admit, it's not your typical Halloween skirt. And here's how you do it if you need a ... View the Post
Thrifted Thursday– Vintage Sweet Sue Doll

Every Sunday dinner of my childhood was spent at my Grandma Lova's house. And after dinner every Sunday, my sister and I would ask if we could play with my mom's and aunt's (luckily there were 2---I am an identical twin you see) Sweet Sue dolls. It was kind of the "American Girl" doll of our childhood. My sister and I would dress, and change outfits ... View the Post
The Starboard Skirt: A Fall Edition
So I have to be honest for a minute, I am still in love with The Starboard Skirt. I know it's crazy to be in love with a skirt, but it's an easy skirt to make and looks like you paid a lot of money for it. I won't even tell you how many I made this summer....because it's a bit embarrassing. But I am here to tell you today NO MORE. Because while sewing during the kid's challenge week from Elsie Marley a couple weeks ago, I sewed a new starboard skirt that I am even more in love with. I ... View the Post
