Sew It All (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Studio…I just can’t tell you about it)
I've always considered Elizabeth and I more of a Lucy and Ethel sort of pair but last week someone told us that we were just like Thelma and Louise...and after what happened during the 24 hours following that statement I'm wondering if that may be more accurate.(Image Source)Even as I'm sitting here writing this I'm giggling and I can't stop...it's been like this ever since I came home. But the problem is this: I can't tell you what is so funny. Ok, sure, technically I could but it's just not ... View the Post
The Sally Dress Tour
When the lovely Shannon asked if we would take part in the Sally Dress Tour....I gladly said yes, because Shannon is one of the nicest bloggers we know. Seriously.....she is the best. Mitered Corner Burp Cloth Tutorial

So I put together this little set: A matching blanket, bib, and burp cloth. (It so made me wish I had a little guy to snuggle in ... View the Post
Jo-Anns’ Waverly Challenge: A Matching Sewing Apron & Machine Cover
Today I"m posting a project that was fun to make but I think would also be fun to give or receive: A matching sewing apron and sewing machine cover! I made the apron using the same basic idea and instructions that I used back when I made my first sewing apron: This new sewing apron is also made from a purchased apron. But this time I selected one that is white canvas, embellished it with Waverly fabric, and then I added my favorite part: The upside down measuring tape! I LOVE IT! It is so ... View the Post

Today we are joining Emily for her fantastic Sew Many Books series. And as a former elementary school teacher and therefore children's-literature-hoarder this is one series that is right up my alley....I chose a 1964 classic children's book that is all about a lion named......See you THERE!!!~Elizabeth ...
