I have been dreaming of Spring and shift dresses and my girlie has been dreaming of the "perfect pink" lately (she loves colors!) so we teamed up at the fabric store. She picked out a perfect pink cotton sateen and I picked out the perfect swiss dot for the top. I used our new bodice pattern (that really is coming out soon--we have been teasing you for too long) for the top and then a-line it out a bit at the bottom for the shift dress part. And we both love the result! (And the shoes for ... View the Post
{You are Special Today} Pillow Tutorial
Growing up in my house, we had a "You are special today" plate. A Chevron Retro Travel Bag

We were joking that we need to lock ourselves in a room for 2 days to even catch up (which would be so fun, as long as there were plenty of snacks). So, I decided that I needed to do something about it. And first on the list was my Retro Travel Tote kit from Fabric Fest! (It was sitting there haunting me for over a month....) And yippeeeee, it's finally done!!! The ... View the Post
