Because this month we were talking about half square triangles I really wanted to put together a quilt top that featured how fun half square triangles can be. Soooo....I made this lap quilt using nothing but plain square blocks and a few half square triangles. And I really like how it turned out! I'm calling it a "Sawtooth Sunburst" quilt top. (Even thought technically it's not a sunburst design it reminds me of one so....) It was really easy to make and it you'd like to make one ... View the Post

Modern Maple Fall Pillow Tutorial

Easy Quilt Tutorial
When we did our quilt giveaway a month or so ago, I had several questions asked about how I put that quilt together. Quilted Potholders from Scraps {Quilt Binding Tutorial}
Did you all have a fantastic weekend? I was a bit thrown off (physically) at the end of last week and couldn't figure out why until I realized I hadn't taken my thyroid medication a couple of days in a row...and without a thyroid at all.....that makes me SOOOO tired. Luckily I have a super supportive husband who let me catch up on some much needed sleep this weekend and I am feeling tons better. It's amazing what sleep can do for you (and your regular medications)! In other news, we ... View the Post
