What am I going to do today? First of all I'm going to get a Dr. Pepper (after all Lent is over). Then I'm going to put in a movie for the kids. Finally I'm going to settle in and make some shoes. Baby shoes.Lots and lots of baby shoes. We have a spring show in less than two weeks and even Gracie knows that you can never have too many pairs of shoes. ... View the Post
A New Old Skirt
Last spring I made Gracie some skirts that were still a size too big for her. This spring she finally fits into them. Here she is coming and going in one of them. I think I may try to make her some more with a longer belt/sash and different fringe on the bottom. ... View the Post
Springcicles
This afternoon Simon and I hung up some springcicles. We actually made these in February but found them this afternoon when I was cleaning out the basement freezer.I saw this idea in an issue of Family Fun. The project is supposed to be done during the winter and the colored icicles are to be color catchers. However, we didn't hang ours until today. That's alright though, we had fun making them, rediscovering them, hanging them, and watching them slowly melt. We may even do it again during the ... View the Post
Another Snowy Day Another Silly Scarf…

Maybe there are some advantages to snowy days. ... View the Post
Snowy Day Scarf

After the 2 minutes outside for the picture we decided it was too cold, even with the scarf, for playing. ... View the Post

Recently I noticed that it was not only shabby but getting dirty. Ew. I couldn't wear it anymore! It has just been sitting there dejected in my cuff pile until yesterday... Yesterday decided that if I wasn't wearing it anyways I might as well try it in the washing machine. What would it hurt? So, with great ... View the Post
