Currently I am knee deep in organize-the-house projects with one of those projects being my sewing area. (What a disaster!) As I sat there looking at it's sorry condition the other night I thought to myself, "Well, at least I'm using my sewing machine cover." I like my sewing machine cover---it saves my machine from tiny hands and the piles of fabric and notions that surround the poor thing. I shared the tutorial for how I made the cover a few months ago over at Somewhat Simple but never ... View the Post
Is it too early for this?
You might need to head to Target today....especially to see if these little guys are on clearance....because you might need some. The kids and I made this garland to decorate for a family Christmas party while they were all on break. In case you are wondering, they are portraits of the artist Salvador Dali who had a wicked awesome mustache. I saw a project similar to this awhile back but had forgotten about it until the other night when.... ...we were up with our kids at like midnight still pulling off base boards and ... View the Post

I Wub Bacon
Actually, I don't really "wub bacon". I don't even like it. But somebody I know can't get enough of it. In fact she loves all meat---especially the kinds I think are scary. Like hot dogs. Which is how I got the idea for her bacon shirt. Way back here, when I made her and Simon mo williams pigeon shirts, Grace was sad because hers didn't have a hot dog. That's when I decided that Grace would enjoy meat themed T-shirts. And I was right. Too bad it took me so long to make her one. ... View the Post
