One of Hannah's Christmas gifts this year was to re-do her room. She's been begging us since we switched the boys' rooms back in the summer, and she was thrilled Christmas morning to finally get her wish. Her bedroom has been the same since she was two and got her twin bed, so I really can't complain. It was time for a bit of updating. (Although it makes me sad that my little girl doesn't want a little girl room anymore---she is growing up way too fast for this momma.)She's been talking ... View the Post
A Snowball Quilt and other odds and ends.
I can finally share some projects that I made before Christmas for some holiday handmade gifts. This snowball quilt has finally reached its new owner, but I got to sneak a few pictures first. And although I barely finished hand-stitching the binding on Christmas afternoon, it was well-received when she opened it. Tab-Top Curtain Tutorial

Fast forward to last week, went I saw at Joann's that it was 50 % off and I decided it was time to get going and make the curtains. I bought 6 yards of fabric which was perfect for 2 curtains (my curtain rods are pretty high) and they touch the floor perfectly.I had previously decided ... View the Post
The Bow-A-Constrictor Tutorial
I've been working on cleaning up and organizing the house...and trying to solve some storage issues. One of those issues is Grace...and all 8 million of her hair bows. We've been keeping them in a bin but she likes to look through them to pick out which one she wants and they usually end up in a pile on the floor. So in order to solve the problem I made this: The Bow-A-Constrictor: It was easy to make, it solves the problem, and I think it will be cute on the wall. In fact, I plan to make ... View the Post
