Both liZ and I have been fans of the Accuquilt products for awhile. They are simple to use and make fabric cutting a cinch and even my kids have gotten into the Go! Baby Accuquilt cutter that we received a couple of years ago. I have used it often for sewing and felt projects (I love this flower project for May Day) and we have also used it for many a school project too. So when Accuquilt asked us if we'd like to be involved in their new GO! Big Blog Hop---I jumped at the chance, because I ... View the Post
Think Big Pillow
When liZ and I have met up with Amy Ellis the last two times it has been on an airplane...and it really is a wonder that she still wants to hang out with me. For real. I am THE most nervous Nelly flier that you will ever meet. And both Amy and liZ can attest to it. I make liZ (and everyone around me) nervous on airplanes....it's a real problem. The fabric I used was organic navy cotton sateen from Organic Cotton Plus. I've used their fabrics before and I love them...they are always so soft and wonderful to work with and this cotton sateen was no exception...it is like butter! Seriously, butter. Which is why I ended up making the long ... View the Post

Here are the facts: *In January Elizabeth and I attended ALT. *One of the sponsors at ALT was Shark vacuums...and I got obsessed with their Rocket vacuum and steamer. (To the point that I was vacuuming the floors, rugs, couches, my pants, whatever all over the hotel instead of going to class with Elizabeth...and then was so loud with all my vacuuming they had to shut the doors to the classrooms to keep all my noise out. True Story.) *Then one of the Shark ladies told me that I could enter a ... View the Post
