I shared this quick and easy kid craft a couple of weeks ago at Adrienne's Halloween Party on Free Time Frolics. And here's the good news.....you still have time to make them! ~Elizabeth ********************************************************************************* Hi! Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds Costume Tutorial
If you need a quick last minute costume this is the perfect one to make! I like funny and old vintage Halloween costumes. Last year, this sassy seven-year-old was Audrey Hepburn and this year....well, she hasn't yet decided on what her glorious costume will be. So, I got to take some liberties and made up a costume that I liked. (And we shall see what she actually chooses for the big day ;) I love this costume because it is a total throwback to the costumes of my childhood. ... View the Post
I interrupt this regularly scheduled program….
to announce that my children have chosen COSTUMES!!!!! (Good news for me.) I gave them the deadline of Monday to choose and then quickly got to work. I have two costumes down (I have been up until all hours of the morning) and one more to go. And the best part of the deal....all of them were made for $15 each or less! (I love budget costumes.) Aaron decided on the red Ninjago figure (I forget his name, Kai, Cole? One of the two....). (I found this awesome cookie rendition from HERE, ... View the Post
On Halloweens Past….
(I found this handmade clown costume at a garage sale this summer and fell in love. The yellow is polyester awesomeness, and someone took a lot of time to make it. We came up with a hobos, scarecrows, ghosts with good 'ole sheets thrown over our heads, a bag of jellybeans (garbage bag with ... View the Post

A Halloween Wreath.
I think I have decided that some people are scary-Halloween people---and some aren't. We are in the aren'ts category. I took our youngest who is 2 into a display store last week to get some grid-wall pegs and he started freaking out over all the life-sized witches and crows and bubbling cauldrons that were EVERYWHERE. I ended up carrying him on my shoulder with his head buried in my neck and every time he would peek out he would say...."Let's get out of here." I have to admit...they were ... View the Post
