When liZ and I started this adventure of a blog 4 years ago, we had no idea that we could even do it, or that people would want to read about our crazy sewing (and non-sewing adventures)...and well, that we could even come up with projects to blog about for a whole 30 days. And well, the rest is history. We are still here...we are still having some crazy adventures and we are still sewing like nobody's business an it really is thanks to all of you. So, when we knew this blog anniversary was ... View the Post
SNAP! Sewing Room Giveaway for YOU!
When liZ and I were approached about doing a Sewing Room at SNAP.....we were excited, nervous, thrilled and fearful all at the same time. What if we couldn't get sponsors? What if no one comes? And the what-ifs continued.....for months before the conference started. But as we emailed out for teachers, sponsors, fabrics, and sewing machines....some of our fears were set aside. So, when all the general chaos was going on and he ... View the Post

Prior to my pregnancy with Ruth I had been involved in running quite a few races with my siblings but after the delivery I could barely stand up-right and running again seemed to no longer be an option. But I was lucky...and about a year ago I was able to start running again.(And because I'm a big ... View the Post
A Storm and a story…..
