This is one of the project that I finished this summer...that luckily has been worn a ton!  It was a quick, easy sew and I love the color of the kiwi green linen with the vintage fabric on the pockets.I didn't take any pictures as I was making it (to tell the truth I was totally winging it), but I basically used a raglan-sleeve dress pattern (self-drafted) with a gathered neck and arms and bias tape to hold the gathers in place.I am working on a similar dress for fall with three-quarter sleeves, ... So I made another caftan dress.  This time in cotton, with neckhole bias facings, finished sleeves, a cute drawstring detail....but Houston, there's a problem.She HATES it.  Yep.  Totally HATES.I thought it would be so cool and comfortable for summer.  Loose, flowy, and cool.....but nope.  She has clearly stated that she is NEVER wearing it again.  She only likes the knit one.  {Which she has worn almost every other day.....she says it's better than a nightgown.}Fine.  I guess I can't win in ...
