Hey! Today we are over at Lolly Jane sharing a tutorial for a super simple felt gift card pouch...and while that is going on....over here we have a few variations that can be made using the same directions! ... View the Post
Gifts that Cost Nothing To Make (An Update)
Last year I wrote a post called "20 Gifts that Cost Nothing To Make But Might Just Be Priceless" And gift #6 on that list is what I called "The What Do You Know Notebook". All it is is a simple spiral bound notebook filled with questions you would like the answers to. I gave my grandpa one of these books (along with one of his favorite fountain pens). Some of the questions I hand wrote inside his book were: "Tell me about your first trip to Disneyland" "What was your worst job?" ... View the Post
Hexagon Wreath Tutorial
We shared this tutorial a couple of weeks ago on The Crafting Chicks website, but you still have time to make a few before Christmas! Home for the Holidays Quilt Block Tutorial
Each one of my kiddos has a quilt that I have made them for their beds...so now it's time to start adding a holiday quilt to every one's beds. I figure if I make one a year, before everyone leaves the house they will all have two quilts made by their momma. That's the plan anyway....we'll see how it goes ;) I started this year with Hannie's Christmas Quilt which I have titled "Home for the Holidays" quilt. I made a coordinating pillow and the full tutorial can be found on baby lock's ... View the Post
10 Ways to Make the Holiday Season Memorable (Without spending a lot of money)
I remember a Christmas many years ago when my oldest was four years old and our second was just barely one. I'd kind of gone all out that year and there were presents, presents and more presents for everyone in the family. I originally thought it was going to be the perfect Christmas. It took us all day to open gifts, we visited both families and by the time we got home that Christmas night I was sick---super sick. I didn't know it at the time but it was the start of a 3 week bout where each ... View the Post
