Remember these? Well, Stacy (my sister-in-law baker extraordinaire) got some new molds and stopped by Friday afternoon with some new stashes for my crew to try out. Obviously they were a hit. (I spent 99% of my picture taking time asking Gracie to quit licking hers for just a minute and asking Simon to look at me instead of trying to look like a "bad guy" and scaring Grace.) They were just so tempting... And fun... And delightfully messy... That they couldn't help but be ... View the Post
Target Building Instructions
Target Building Instructions: Yikes! I totally forgot that I was going to post this tutorial today! Earlier in the week I meant to take some photographs of the target and frame in action but then they were borrowed, and then they were taken camping and now the morning is slipping away so we'll have to make due with some older pictures I found from a few weeks ago so I can get this thing posted! Ok...so here is the target that I'm posting the instructions for: Ours sits on a three tiered ... View the Post
Boys Week—More PVC Projects
It seems that this summer may be the summer of my love affair with PVC pipe. Every time I think of something I want to make it involves using more PVC pipe. Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo...one of my spring favorites... It gives me an excuse to eat even more Mexican food than I normally do. (Which is a lot.) But what is Cinco de Mayo you ask? (Ok...you didn't ask but I'll be brief.) It is a holiday made up in California during the United States Civil War. The French had invaded Mexico and the Union feared that it would use Mexico as a base to supply the Confederate army. However, on May 5th the small, 4,000 strong, Mexican army crushed the French (who were twice ... View the Post
