Just over 4 years ago Elizabeth and I were driving around Salt Lake City in my mini van with our two oldest girls and my new born baby Ruth looking for just the right place to take pictures of Hannah and Grace wearing their handmade capes. I can still remember the details so vividly. Where we parked, what we talked about....and then I blinked and in an instant that newborn was wearing Grace's cape as a hand-me down. Time goes by so quickly...I had no idea so much time had gone ... View the Post

We shared this tutorial a couple of weeks ago on The Crafting Chicks website, but you still have time to make a few before Christmas! This tutorial is for a form of quilting called English Paper Piecing but don't be afraid of the title...it is a super simple form of handstitching or sewing ... View the Post
On the Go Bags Book Review
Are you as much of a "bag lady" as I am? I love bags. And not just purses....I just love bags. 10 Ways to Make the Holiday Season Memorable (Without spending a lot of money)

I'd kind of gone all out that year and there were presents, presents and more presents for everyone in the family. I originally thought it was going to be the perfect Christmas. It took us all day to open gifts, we visited both families and by the time we got home that Christmas night I was sick---super sick. I didn't know it at the time but it was the start of a 3 week bout where each ... View the Post
