Shine Bright Fabrics Lookbook
Today we are so excited to share with all of you our new fabric line, "Shine Bright" and some of the projects we have been able to create out of the fabric line. It's always exciting to show what we have been working on behind the scenes for awhile! When we first designed "Shine Bright" it was first inspired by our girls--because we want them to always remember to remember who they are and inspire confidence in each one of them to let their own lights shine so bright. Queen Sized Black and White Gingham Quilt

So, I modified the original tutorial from using 5" pre-cut squares to 10" pre-cut squares which made the perfect size quilt for the bottom of a queen bed that I have in that room. And I REALLY REALLY love this quilt! It is so great in that room and looks amazing with the giant sized gingham squares. It's such a simple quilt ... View the Post
The Art of Homemaking: Learn to Rest
"When you get tired, learn to rest, but don't quit." Several weeks ago I found myself one afternoon having a breakdown. It was a week where everything went wrong. The kids had so many things going on but yet were not willing to get any of them done. It was end of term (enough said). Projects, homework galore. They were also constantly fighting with each other about the most inane things. I couldn't get dinner on the table to save my life. I forgot appointments. I was done. And done. And ... View the Post
