Silver King PDF Quilt Pattern
Today we are excited to release our first pattern of 2023 and it is our Silver King PDF Quilt Pattern!
The pattern is based on a traditional King’s Court Quilt Block but was given it’s name from where this quilt was photographed…just outside an old mine…the Silver King Mine.
I’d been working on this pattern for quite some time…sewn up the blocks over and over…and then, last fall I brought one of the quilts with me on an anniversary weekend with my husband and I.
We stayed at a ski resort up in the mountains and the leaves were just starting to turn colors.
It was beautiful.
We took a ride on the lifts up to the top of the mountain…and the quilt came with us.
At the top of the mountain it was so sunny and delightful we decided to walk around and found a trail….which we followed. At the end of the trail we found an abandoned mine along with a handful of other abandoned buildings.
It was so cool!!!
It seemed like there was something to find around every corner.
And every place we found, besides being totally rad, seemed like it was just waiting for me to take a picture of a quilt in front of it!
I was in quilt picture taking heaven!
But I need to tell you more about the quilt pattern and less about our adventure.
Here are the details:
The Silver King PDF Quilt Pattern is made up of 16, oversized, King’s Court Quilt Blocks and finishes up at 71″ X 71″.
The large squares in the center of each block are perfect for showcasing your favorite prints or for fun novelty fabrics. (I’m almost finished with another one of these quilts that uses Harry Potter fabric…and it is so cute!)
The quilt, even though large, comes together quickly and is great for beginners or advanced quilters alike. It is a fun sew and perfect to stitch up while listening to your favorite podcast or audio book.
You can find the PDF pattern HERE in our shop.
Happy Quilting!
*The fabrics used in this quilt are from our Hibiscus fabric line that we designed for Riley Blake Designs.*
