UFO to TFO: An Olivia Quilt
Over the past few months I’ve been working on my stash, pulling out my UFO’s and making them into TFO’s.
That’s right I’m dropping the U’s and turning my UnFinished Objects into Totally Finished Objects…one project at a time.
The first project I finished up is this Olivia Print Baby Quilt.
I must have gotten this kit 10 or so years ago and it has been patiently waiting in its original plastic sack from the store since that time.
Somehow I must have missed placed the instructions or didn’t get home from the shop with them…either way it was ok because luckily this was an easy quilt to figure out.
Simple rows of pre cut blocks with a border and some binding.
It was so much fun to sew up! Just chain piecing…so relaxing!
I stitched it up while listening to an audio book and wondered:
Why didn’t I do this sooner?
And then I celebrated finishing a project!
I have so many partially finished and partially started projects in my sewing room….and even though we all know I will continue starting new projects :)…I have been enjoying rediscovering these forgotten kits and quilt tops and finishing them up.
I’ve also been taking a chunk out of my stash….and I am excited share what I’ve been doing!
Until the next post….this was my: UFO to TFO: An Olivia Quilt
Happy Quilting!
