May Reading Challenge: Stories to Stitch By
This month our challenge is called: May Flowers…and is focused on choosing on a book that has a flower in the title or on the cover.
Yesterday I grabbed a couple books off the shelf that would meet the challenge.
For example any of these cuties would work:
Come on! Aren’t those covers adorable????
Plus…..they are covered in flowers!
Or…any of these would work too:
Some have a lot of flowers…some not as much…and one even has the word “flowers” in the title.
But because this is such a random challenge this month I didn’t give you a list….only a few examples. This month is really open ended and I do hope that you share what you are reading.
As for what sew during reading breaks (or while listening to an audio book) here are a few suggestions for May Flowers:
First up is of course our Sunflower Quilt Pattern:
It is a quick sew and turns out darling.
Next we have our Garden Bloom Quilt Pattern:
It is a great quilt for beginners and looks great with both prints and solids.
And finally….if you are looking for a smaller project to tackle this month for May Flowers we have our Sunflower Pillow:
or our Poinsettia Pillow Pattern:
Both are fun to make and and use.
So there you have it…a little floral inspiration for May.
Happy Reading and Happy Quilting!
