Saturday Afternoon Quilt in Shine Bright
I made this quilt YEARS ago.
(Seriously years ago.)
For my daughter Grace.
I used our Saturday Afternoon Quilt Pattern along with our Shine Bright fabric line.
I cut and stitched together the pieces, quilted it myself, and then decided to hand bind it.
The only problem is…my eye site is terrible…which makes threading needles and minding my stitches….well…difficult.
But finally… finally…finally I finished the binding!
So it came with us for a weekend trip up to Northern Utah to check out the Spiral Jetty.
(Anyone else take their quilts on vacation?)
It was a fun weekend…and fun to have this quilt finally finished!
There are so many parts of the quilting process I love….the planning, the cutting, the sewing, and of course the finished product.
But it also pretty great to see it used as well!
(At home or on vacation.)
You can find the Saturday Afternoon PDF Pattern HERE in our shop.
It is a fun one that looks great with almost every kind of fabric:
Alright, so that is that!
And…this is the first of a group of posts to come from a pile of projects that have FINALLY been completed and that I’m excited to share!
Stay tuned…and Happy Quilting!
