Riley Blake Virtual Quilt Market—Flourish

Today we are excited to share a sneak peak of our newest fabric line with Riley Blake Designs called: “With a Flourish”!

The word “flourish” has several different meanings:

1. To grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment
2. To be in a state of activity or production
3. To hold up and show (something) in an excited or proud way
4. A bold or extravagant gesture or action, made especially to attract the attention of others

But my favorite just might be: to grow luxuriantly

Doesn’t that sound wonderful….to grow luxuriantly? I think so.

And it is with those definitions, thoughts, and feelings in mind we created “With a Flourish”.

For us, creating quilts is a “state of activity” and “production”…and we find ourselves in “a particularly favorable environment” when we are stitching up a quilt.

And, of course, when the quilt is finished we are excited to share it with others….often, as all quilters do, giving it away to a loved one to show them how much we care.

“With a Flourish” is made up of beautiful floral prints with a rich palette of colors intended to inspire, delight and make quilts “grow luxuriantly”.

With blues, greens, mustard, and corals the colors both blend and complement one another while giving off a classically refined feel.

We are so excited to show you more of this beautiful collection in the months to come and can’t wait to see what you create with these lovely prints.
