Today we are participating in Riley Blake Design’s Virtual Quilt Market and we get to announce our next fabric line that is coming February of 2022! We couldn’t be more excited! It is such a fun line that can be used from nurseries to a teen boho room and well beyond. It has the perfect amount of modern AND whimsy that we always go for in a fabric line!
Here’s what is written about the collection on the storyboard.
“Renowned for their large, showy flowers and tropical locales, the hibiscus leaves us dreaming of beaches, palm trees and sunsets. Hibiscus by Simple Simon and company evokes those same dreamy feelings…and also gives us alpacas! The gorgeous palette of blush, citron, hunter, mint and white pairs perfectly with the florals, tropical foliage, ditzy, confetti and stripes. The darling alpacas add a bit of whimsy to this beautiful and fanciful collection.”
Hibiscus will come in three fun colorways that all work together so that you can use all three in so many fun projects. The hunter greens, mints, citrons and blush pinks are the perfect modern color palette!
Up first is the mint colorway with lots of pinks and whites added into the mix. I absolutely adore these colors together.
And the hunter green colorway with the citron has such a modern vibe to add to a quilting or other sewing project!
Last but certainly not least the blush pink colorway is the prettiest of vibes with all the mint, green and citron mixed into it. It is so delicate and fun at the same time!
And here are a few prints up close….the main floral print has got to be one of my absolute favorites! I love all the jungle flower vibes it adds and the colors of each of them go so well together.
The alpaca prints add such whimsy to the line and they have the cutest details on them. These little guys are sure to add to your quilting projects.
A bias stripe is always a good idea to a collection and will make the perfect binding for your quilts or even the perfect skirt for a little girl’s dress.
A ditzy floral is always a must in a collection for us! I love the addition of a small floral to use as a bodice or even a pillow or quilt backing.
This secondary jungle print is also one of my faves. Isn’t it so cute?
And we can’t help but add a modern touch with a confetti print to bring in lots of different colors!
