One of my very favorite things about quilting is figuring out a simple pattern, cutting it out, sewing it up and having a quilt top that same day. It makes me feel so accomplished. I always say that quilting is my “something that I can do everyday that can’t be undone” and I truly believe it. Laundry and dishes are never ending-and even though I make just as big of a mess as quilting, I LOVE that my quilt pieces will just stay where they are put.
