Slip Sliding Away Quilt in Modern Farmhouse
Today I get to share a quilt I stitched up last fall…but just finally got around to binding.
This was a fun quilt to sew up.
I used our Slip Sliding Away PDF Quilt Pattern (that you can read all about HERE or purchase HERE in our shop)….
….and for the fabric I used a scrap of green that I have been hanging onto for years, some Rose Gold Swiss Dot, one of the floral prints from “Modern Farmhouse” (a sweet line that we designed for Riley Blake Designs) and set it all into a dark brown from my solids stash.
I like how it turned out…the colors have a magical forest, fairy type feel that I didn’t anticipate but really love!
And speaking of love…
…I really am into floral bindings right now!
I think the last 5 or 6 quilts I have bound have been bound in floral bindings!
So that’s it. Short and sweet.
