Gingham Quilt Pattern
Ok…I am in LOVE with this quilt!!!!! IN LOVE!
I hadn’t had a chance to sew up a quilt using the Modern Farmhouse fabrics that we designed for Riley Blake Designs….and I really wanted to do something fun and use it.
Sooooo one afternoon I ignored all my responsibilities, downloaded a new book to listen to and got to sewing.
It was heaven!
I used our Gingham Quilt PDF Pattern which is a quick sew:
But when I finished I loved it so much I wanted to keep it for myself to put in the family room…and I had only sewn up the baby quilt version of the pattern.
Sooooo….I simply added a 5 inch border!
And BAM!!! Now it is a great throw size to put on the couch!
(The baby size finishes up at 45″ x 45″ but with a 5″ border it is 54″ x 54″ which is a perfect couch quilt size.)
And the Modern Farmhouse fabrics looks so cute with my green couch and soft pink throw!!!
It makes me so happy!
I really need to make more quilts that are just for fun…..

I just finished a king Gingham quilt. It was quick to put together, but tough to quilt on my home machine. Yours are lovely.
