Happy Veteran’s Day!
Today we thought it would be the perfect day to release our new Ragged Flag Quilt Pattern.
I have wanted a flag quilt for a long time now and this summer I finally made one…or two…or ten.
I love this quilt.
It is a great pattern for beginners, for using up scraps, and as an alternative option for finishing up a quilt without having it quilted or tied…plus it is one that I just love to have out at my home all summer long.
It’s fun, it’s easy, and you can find the PDF pattern HERE.
*NOTE: This quilt pattern is designed to use up the scraps from your stashes!
The more variety you have the better this quilt will look. Don’t worry if the shades aren’t all the same…once they are all sewn together the variation in color will give your quilt personality!
And…since it’s Veteran’s Day I am going to indulge myself and say how lucky I am to have grown up with both of my grandfathers…one a WWII Veteran and the other a Korean War Veteran…instilling in me a love for my country, the importance of family, and showing me, by example, how to serve others.
Man, I miss those two.
