I actually started this Churndash quilt in the Spring but as I was binding it a couple of weeks ago, I realized that it was really made to be a fall quilt! So, here we have our newest fall quilt in the lineup of quilts at our house–The Fall Churndash Quilt.

This quilt is made from our pattern The Charming Churndash Quilt Pattern that is available in our shop HERE. The churndash is one of my all-time favorite vintage quilt blocks. It is so versatile and just plain rewarding to make. We even did a whole podcast about the churndash quilt block and its history and origins back in Season one of Stitched. You can listen to that HERE.

I used the fabric line Wild Bouquet from Riley Blake Designs designed by Citrus and Mint and I love these colors together. The mustard, grey blue and burgundy are so fun!

For the backing I used one of Riley Blake’s new basics called Blossom in mustard as well and it matches so great.

And there you have it…..the newest Churndashes in the long line of Churndash quilts at my house. I just love them so so much!
