While out shopping the other week, we came across these darling headbands. And although they were adorable, I wasn’t up to the $24 dollar price tag that went with them. I told Hannie that I think we can make something similar that are still super cute.
So, we came home and started on some proto-types to see if we could make some at home. We had about 4 different attempts but we finally found what we both were looking for! They are made from existing 1″ angled headbands and they are so comfortable to wear and actually stay in place.
And then we got to town making more and more headbands. I think we ended up with about 10 out of all different scrap fabrics from the scrap bins. All the fabrics are Riley Blake Designs and most were left overs from other projects.
I had a digital pattern made up for you so you can make some too if you’d like. It’s in our SHOP HERE and only costs $3.95 so you can make a lot this summer too! They would also be the perfect item to make and sell at craft fairs or boutiques if you have any of those coming up this fall .
So, head over to the SHOP, grab your scrap bin and patterns and you have some headbands to make this week!
