Today we happy to share with you a simple, easy ombre quilt pattern that is quick and cute.
We are calling it The Easy Ombre Quilt Pattern although, truth be told, it would work with any fabric combination…rainbow stripes of color…different florals…novelty fabrics…a combination of all of the above…
And, speaking of truth…I got this fabric (a delightful pile of Riley Blake Solids) more than 2 years ago! I cut it out the very same day I picked it up…along with a second ombre inspired quilt using red fabrics.
The idea was to make 2 coordinating Christmas quilts for my girls….but I forgot about them until about a month ago when I was unpacking some boxes from the move and decided to finish the green one right then and there.
I’m calling it a St. Patrick’s Quilt now. 🙂
And that’s ok. It looks like spring, and life, and hope.
Maybe I will finish the red one for next year…for Valentine’s Day! 🙂
Or pair it with a blue one for the 4th of July???
Either way this quilt is one quick sew!
And an easy one…I think I’m going to let my 10 year old give this one a try.
