The STASH: A Quilting Club

 

Today is FINALLY the day we get to announce The STASH our brand new private quilting community!!!!

YAAAAAAHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

For years we have said how much we would love to collect all of our sewing and quilting friends into one location to talk, sew, quilt, hangout, and share our projects with one another…and we have tried several things….

We have held and attended numerous local events as well as traveling from one side of the country to another (from Boston to Portland) for trunk shows and to teach classes….and have LOVED meeting every single person…but we still couldn’t reach everyone…

…and for the past few years we have had a Quilt Block of the Month Club…which has been so much fun…but there was still something missing…we didn’t feel like we had enough personal interaction with all the wonderful women who were participating.

There had to be a better solution!

So we thought and we talked and we thought and discussed and we talked and talked and talked…and finally we came up with The STASH!

(And we are so excited about it we can’t wait to get started!!!)

 

Here is how The STASH works:

The STASH is a monthly subscription club that costs just $7.95 a month.  (The same price as a PDF Pattern.)

Upon enrollment in the club, you get immediate access to The Stash’s private Facebook group where you will find a new PDF pattern posted the first week of each month. This pattern will be up, ready, posted and available to download throughout the entire month. Each quilt pattern will be an exclusive pattern to the Stash and will NOT be released to the public for at least 3 months from the time it was released to our group. (Note:  The heavy majority of these PDF patterns will be quilt patterns…however, we have sprinkled in a few other darling projects to spice things up….think table runner, mini quilt, etc.)   

 

Aside from the monthly PDF Pattern you will also receive:

• Facebook live videos each month that will walk you through how to cut, sew, and select fabric for the the PDF pattern featured each month (As well as tips, tricks, and techniques along the way.)
• A monthly recipe (That can be made quickly…giving you more time to sew!)
• A monthly book recommendation/review
• Entry into a monthly giveaway (and we have some FUN giveaways lined up for this year!)
• Access to group discussions
• Access to post your personal works in progress on the private Facebook page
• Lots more fun posts and surprises along the way

Doesn’t that sound like so much fun???

The private Facebook page will be our home base…our “stash” if you will…of friends…who are all receiving the same pattern each month and can choose to sew along, ask questions, as well as share photos of current works in progress.  Of course we will have chains of discussions to join in on and each month we will share quick meal recipes (so you can spend more time sewing) and since we’ve discovered that many of you enjoy reading as much as we do we will have a book pick of the month to share as well.

Plus….the giveaways!  We will have at least one giveaway per month in the facebook group…from fabric to notions…we have some fun boxes assembled.

With all of that I think we have solved the problem of how to get everyone into one location to sew, visit, and share!

Now as for this first month….it will be slightly different than all the other months to follow.

Because this is the first STASH month ever we will have more giveaways and things going on over at The STASH facebook page than usual and while we will still have the recipe, book review, and facebook lives walking you through a pattern we will not have a brand new pattern up for download.  Instead while we are getting everyone signed up, set up, and into the group everyone who joins The STASH this month (January 2019) will receive a $7.95 coupon code for the shop to buy any PDF pattern they would like.

(And in case you are wondering which quilt we will be showing you how to cut and sew up this month it will be our Picnic Quilt Pattern…the one shown in the photo above.  It is a great pattern that uses only 2 different blocks…a 4 Patch and a Snowball…and we will show you how to make them both!)

I LOVE this quilt pattern and am excited to sew it up again next month from start to finish.

In fact, I’m excited about all the patterns we have put together for this year!  We have been working hard behind the scenes getting the patterns ready and I can tell you there isn’t one of them that I am not excited to sew up again…for my third or fourth time!

So there you have it…The STASH…our big announcement…whew!  I’m so glad I finally got to spill the beans.  I was going crazy!
