I always ALWAYS have bins full of scrap fabric as well as orphaned squares from precut fabric packs so today I’m happy to share a 100 block scrap buster quilt top instruction sheet with you.
Here is a list of everything you need to make this quilt top:
*100 squares each cut to 5′ x 5″
*1 yard of fabric for the border
*1/2 yard of fabric for the binding.
That’s it.
And I’ll wager that you have those items in your stash. 🙂
Now to make things easy I put together a FREE PRINTABLE INSTRUCTION SHEET that you can download HERE and have all the information you need to put together a quilt top just like this from scraps that you have on hand.
This is a great quilt if you are teaching someone to sew, attempting your first quilt, need a quick gift, or just want to lighten your scrap pile!
And the quilt finishes off at 55″ x 55″ which makes it a fun size for children and lap quilts!
So click HERE and print out the instruction sheet.
And then….to tempt you…because I’m like that…I also have (and will continue) to put together 100 Block scrapper quilt kits over IN THE SHOP. (In case you aren’t ready to part with any of your stash just yet.)
The kits come with 100 precut squares as well as the precut border strips and fabric for the binding…and of course the instruction sheet.
Right now there are a few of the black and white kits (like the quilt in the picture) and by the end of the day I will have added others that use our Let Them Be Little and Shine Bright fabric lines as well.
You can find the black and white kits HERE and watch for the others HERE in the shop.
So that’s that.
Easy Peasy.
Happy Quilting!
