Hello!
We can’t believe it’s finally here! Day 1 of our Nautical Summer Quilt Along!!!!
What is our Nautical Summer Quilt Along? Glad you asked!
Starting today, and for the next 10 weeks, we will be releasing a new video each Tuesday that will walk you through how to make two different nautical inspired quilts! Fun right?
The first quilt we are starting with is the more traditional quilt:
This quilt is made up of 4 different nautical flags all sewn up in their traditional colors. When finished it makes a nice sized lap quilt or throw.
For all the fabric requirements needed to make this quilt (and the one coming next) you can check out THIS POST.
Or to just order a kit to make this quilt you can VISIT OUR SHOP HERE.

Now that we have all the business out of the way…here is our first video in our Nautical Summer Quilt Along Series: How to Make a Rail Fence Block!
*Notes from the Video*
*To replicate the quilt shown in the photographs you will need to make 2 Rail Fence Quilt Blocks
*You will need to cut 2 strips of blue, 2 strips of white, and one strip of red that are each 2.5″x 10″ (You may want to cut them 2.5″ x 10.25″ if you are worried about squaring.)
*Each Rail Fence block should be pressed and then squared to a 10″ x 10″ size.
