We know that not all of you can be at quilt market so we thought we’d share some of the pictures of our quilt market booth and our upcoming fabric line which comes out this coming August. Quilt Market is always exciting for us because we get to see people that we haven’t seen in awhile but it’s also so fun to see all the new fabric lines that are coming out and some samples of things that can be made with the fabric.
This fabric line “Let Them Be Little” is so fun for us because it is a follow up line to “When Skies are Grey” which you all know that we loved so much.
Here is the little snippet of the story from the storyboard that is going along with “Let Them Be Little.”
“It seems like only yesterday we were building forts, putting together legos, and playing dress up. But we blinked and those toddlers have grown up and now spend time with friends, at school, and pursuing their interests. Those magic toddler years with all the creativity, emerging personalities, and “firsts” come with a price…hard work, little sleep, and lots of messes…sometimes the days seem to last forever…but those years, they go by so fast. Our newest collection “Let Them Be Little” is inspired by those days, with gratitude for all the times we were wise enough to let the dishes wait long enough to curl up in a quilt, with our little ones in our arms, to read a story, sing a song, and rock our babies to sleep. Our little ones are only little once…this line is dedicated to making the most of it.”
Here are a few of the projects that we made for market. The main print in this fabric line is this fun panel with all these fun designs into it that can be used for quilt backs or even how we used it above as a fun cheater panel.
And this pink apple print is one of our absolute favorite things about this line. Along with that tiny plus print that is going to be so fun to use in so many ways.
One new thing coming with this fabric line is a bigger digital panel that looks like a full quilt. You will be able to add borders to the outside of it, or even just quilt it and bind it like we did on this wall for market.
And a few more pictures of things we made with all of the prints…
The main print in the pink colorway that we made a child’s quilt out of.
And the whole room all together.
This is our Scrappy Sawtooth Quilt Pattern made up in the fabrics from “Let Them Be Little” and it’s a fun one to show off all sorts of fabrics.
And this quilt block is a fun event that Riley Blake has in store for July! It’s going to be a free quilt pattern that we will be making out of our fabric lines and several of the RB designers will be making out of their lines, so it will be fun to see all the quilts when they come together.
Thank you for so many of you who came to say hello to us at Quilt Market 2018. We loved chatting with each and every one of you from so many places!
