Shine Bright Diamond Paper Piecing Pattern
I know I’ve been teasing this pattern with what seems like forever (it was last fall–yikes!) but it is finally here! The Shine Bright Diamond Paper Piecing Pattern is here and tested and ready to make some fun projects with. And, for those that have never paper pieced before–I’ve put together a video to walk you through the whole process step by step so you will feel confident making this quilt block.
I started this pattern way back when Shine Bright fabrics was coming out and it is based off of the exact diamond that is in the shine bright print that you can see here. I thought it would be so fun to make a quilt block out of that exact piece from the fabric. So, I worked on it. Had some help from some friends (thanks Holly and testers!) and it is finally ready to release.
Here it is out of Shine Bright Fabrics in the diamond print as well as some of the glitter prints in black and pink for the background.
And I think it looks just as cute out of solids. These are confetti cotton from Riley Blake Designs. The first thing you are going to need to do is to head over to our shop and purchase the pattern, but luckily it only costs $1 and you may print it out as many times as you need it.

Here is the video to walk you through the whole process start to finish. It’s perfect to make a quilt that girls of all ages will love! And once you get going the quilt blocks go together quickly and they get addicting to make. So you can make a couple of quilt tops with different fabrics.
Here is the first quilt I made using the paper piecing quilt block with Shine Bright. The second quilt from the video will be ready soon! I am getting it custom quilted and I will post that one when it’s ready.
Here is an image below that you can save to Pinterest to use later if you need to as well.
Happy Quilting!
