With each new collection that we present we have decided to give all of you a free pattern that goes along with the fabric line as a thank you for all of your amazing support. We are so appreciative of each one of you for buying our fabric lines and for making such beautiful things out of them. We feel so very blessed and want to give something to each one of you too!
The quilt for this line of fabric, Shine Bright by Riley Blake Designs is The Sleepover Quilt, the perfect quilt to make and take to a sleepover at grandma’s house for even a fun quilt to watch a movie under. It’s the perfect size! You can read all about the new line SHINE BRIGHT here in this post.
This quilt is fat quarter bundle friendly, so all you need is a fq bundle which you can buy here, your backing and binding fabrics and you are good to go! There are 21 fat quarters in the pattern and you will use all of them to make The Sleepover Quilt. The quilt is approximately 64″ by 64″ so it’s a good sized cuddling quilt.
You can download the Free PDF pattern by clicking the button above and then printing out the two pages that you will need for the directions. The only thing we do ask is that if you are in a quilting group or fb group, PLEASE DO NOT upload the PDF into your group. You are welcome to copy and paste the link, but please do not upload the document in its entirety. (Thank you for your cooperation in this ;).
And now you are ready to make a quilt this week, just in time for all those who are needing a special quilt this time of the year.
Love,
Elizabeth
PS–Here is an image to pin to pinterest to save the PDF pattern toon!

Love the free pattern but I’m a little confused…Your directions say odd rows will have 8 rectangles & even rows will have 7 rectangles with a square at each end but that’s not what the pattern image or your finished quilt picture shows. It shows 7 rectangles & 1 square for EVERY row. It does look like the written directions are correct to get a 64×64 quilt so the image is more for reference? Thanks!

Kristine, Thank you for catching that…I changed the pattern to match the quilt. I appreciate all your help!
