Today joining us for Skirting the Issue are two very crafty women (and good friends) who both just happen to be geniuses when it comes to making skirts and luckily enough for us they are both sharing a skirt pattern today! Both Audrey and Becky are known for making the cutest skirts and we are so thankful that both are joining us for Skirting the Issue this year.
First up is Audrey from Skirt Fixation and as her blog name suggests, she has so many incredible skirt patterns (and just recently released a swim skirt as part of a new swimsuit pattern that I am dying to make ;). Her tagline even reads “Changing the world, one skirt at a time! (Don’t you love that?) She is giving away this free pattern for the Bloom & Grow Skirt. It is made with a double border print fabric that looks so fun and the skirt is full and twirly which is just what a little girl wants. Go HERE to grab the pattern! Thank you Audrey for joining our cause this summer….we are so appreciative.
And second joining us from U Create is Becky from her blog Be So Crafty. Becky has been doing a project that is quite amazing and we so admire her for it. Throughout Summer 2017 she is making 100 skirts in 100 days to donate to girls and women ranging from foster care to refugees. She did the same project last summer, so she is up to making and donating over 200 skirts in 2 years. Isn’t that amazing? She really is amazing. You can go read more about her project HERE along with a fabulous tutorial for this darling Jelly Roll Skirt! I love the way she used the jelly roll into such a colorful and cute skirt. Thank you Becky for joining us!
