This month our guest co-host is Jessica from A Blue Sky Kind of Life who fits the theme this month perfectly! She is a master of solid colors and has such a great eye for putting them together in quilts. She has written a whole post about Using Solid Fabrics in Quilting and has some AMAZING examples that she has made….head over to check out the whole post!!! (But then come back to link up your own solid fabric quilting project to the link party!)
Thank you Jessica for joining us this month!!
Jessica’s Cut Glass Quilt is one such of her solid colors quilts with the colors blending beautifully together. And let’s look at a few other examples of using solid colors in modern quilting…
This solid quilt by Denyse Schmidt is so beautiful. Denyse is one of the first modern quilters and she has many examples of using solid colors in quilting. Her quilting projects are so fun to look at!

And now it’s your turn to link up a quilt to the Modern Quilt Along Link Up party….you can link up 2-3 quilts per theme and we will choose randomly one quilt per month to win a quilting prize package!
**Remember any solid color quilting project counts and that we are adding to our link-up party each month to have a big modern quilt showcase at the end of 2017!***
